The Command Prompt, also known as CMD, is a Windows operating system tool that allows users to enter commands via the keyboard and interact with the operating system. It can be used to manage files, check network connections, or change system settings, among other things.
Step 1: Open the Start menu
Press the Windows key (with the Windows logo) on your keyboard, or click the Start icon in the taskbar.
Step 2: Search for the Command Prompt
Type "Command Prompt" into the search field and click on the corresponding search result.
Alternatively, you can also press the keyboard combination

and then enter "cmd" and confirm with Enter.
Step 3: Open the Command Prompt
Click on the "Command Prompt" icon or press Enter to open the Command Prompt.
