Guide: How to open AppData folder in Windows - Step-by-step Guide

The AppData folder in Windows contains important data for applications and programs installed on the computer. This folder stores settings, temporary files, and other data for example. In some cases, it may be necessary to open the AppData folder to find or edit certain files.

Step by step guide:

  • Click on the start menu in the taskbar and type "Run".
  • Click on the "Run" icon to open the "Run" dialog box.
  • Type "%appdata%" in the text field and click "OK".

  • Click on the start menu in the taskbar and select "Computer".
